PMU or permanent makeup is also known as cosmetic tattooing. It is the art of placing pigment into the skin (within the dermal layer) in order to add permanent color and definition to your features. Permanent makeup is a tattoo and will fade over time but it will never completely go away without removal. Common PMU techniques are powder brows, lip blush, scalp micropigmentation, liner, microblading, nano brows, and more.

Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Topical numbing cream (lidocaine) is applied throughout the procedure and as needed so that clients are as comfortable as possible. Most clients fall asleep!

1-3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, care, etc. Please keep in mind that any type of tattooing is permanent; meaning that it will fade over time but you will always have pigment in your skin. Most of Alisha's clientele do not return for 2 years or longer due to Alisha's technique.

Touch-ups are booked on an as needed basis. If you feel you want a bolder look then you can book a touch-up. Most clients, who prefer natural looking PMU do not return for touch-ups unless their PMU is significantly losing its shape and color.

Alisha does not offer touch-ups for foreign PMU (PMU not performed by her). More often than not, work that is done elsewhere causes scar tissue, is patchy in color, and uneven in shape. Please send Alisha photos of your previous PMU work prior to booking a cover-up appointment.

Cover-up sessions are for anyone who has had any type of PMU/tattooing in the area. Please send Alisha photos of your pervious PMU prior to booking a cover-up session. Alisha must assess whether she is able to cover-up your old PMU or is removal is the better option. Please respect Alisha's decision if she recommends removal first. She does not want anyone to waste their money on a cover-up PMU session that fails to achieve your goals.

Alisha uses LUXE Permablend pigments which are vegan and made in the U.S.A. These pigments are EU REACH compliant. The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation has a simple goal —– to restrict the use of hazardous chemicals in products that are made and sold in the European Union (EU). These standards are not mandatory in the United States, however, Alisha has decided to transition to all LUXE pigments to ensure her clients receive only the highest quality pigments on the market today.

Allergic reactions to colorants and/or other ingredients within PMU pigments is rare, but not impossible. If you are unsure if you may react poorly to PMU pigments Alisha can provide the complete list of ingredients that are within her pigments as well as schedule a complementary patch test (implant a small amount of pigment into your skin to discover if you develop a reaction or not to the pigment).

Her license number is 5023 under Alisha Pace. Alisha has received 7 certifications total from trainers from O'ahu, Canada, Florida, California, and Vietnam. Alisha is insured by Sharp Lines Insurance.
